I’m really excited about graduation. As of right now, I’m living in the moment while high school last. As in making as much memories I can with my friends before we all go our separate ways. I want to do a celebration dance when I receive my diploma but i’m not sure which one yet. I will do something though.
I can not wait for Grad Night. It will be one of those once in a lifetime experiences so I have to enjoy it while it lasts. That’s more motivation for me to complete homework when i’m feeling lazy. It will pay off in the long run. Another thing i’m looking forward to is my Exit Interview. As of right now, I haven’t finished my Exit Interview PowerPoint. It will be completed this weekend. I have to practice a couple times presenting it before the real one. I’m also looking forward to making money, I finally got a job. I couldn’t get one at first because I played football and basketball and it took most of my time. Plus I had/have homework as well. I work at my grandma’s hair salon. I do yard work and clean the inside of the shop. My barber works there as well and i’m hoping we can work something out to where I can get free hair cuts but we will see.
I’m grateful for my Cousin Ashley. She was the one helping me with my homework when I needed it the most. My Junior year(last year) one night I went over to her house around 8pm. I had 4 projects to do for History. They were essays and it had to be 3 pages per project. This was on a Thursday I believe and I had to turn them in on Friday the next day because that was the last day for final grades. We stayed up til like 1 in the morning. Boy was I tired the next day.
I’m also grateful for my loving family. Without them I wouldn’t be who I am today. These 4 high school/teenage years were crazy but they stuck by my side leading me to the right path. Me playing sports is another big thing i’m grateful for. Playing sports can teach you stuff that can be used outside of sports as well. Such as, to never give up in life. No matter how hard it is you don’t quit. Nothing will come easy, you have to work for it yourself. If you to take a loss don’t complain, just work that much harder so it won’t happen again. Also to be patient in life especially when you’re under pressure. Everything will fall into place overtime, until then keep working hard day in day out. Most importantly, stay healthy, eat good. Now that i’m done with sports I have to run and workout on my own time. That’s all self-motivation. I have to be the one that want’s to workout, eat healthy, go to school and so on. Nobody else can do it for me but me.
