My senior year is going great so far. I think its crazy how fast time flies, I remember coming into Lindsay High School as a freshmen like it was yesterday. Especially having younger friends; they’re asking me advice about high school. I was the same way but I never thought I would be the one giving advice. They’re saying “ I cant wait to make high school memories” and in my head i’m like dang I already made most of my high school memories; my time is almost up. Its almost the time to start the next chapter of life.
My grades are good so far for senior year, it just sucks because I have chemistry and Algebra 2 when I should have took those classes last year. Those are probably going to be the most challenging classes I have my senior year but I plan on finishing senior year a month or two before school ends. I can’t be wasting any time because seniors get out earlier before any other grade does. I’m really looking forward to the exit interview; I thinks it’s going to be challenging for me but as long as I pass it, ill be good because I know ill pass my classes. Im also looking forward to football season because that’s what I plan on doing after high school. I have one last chance to get a D1 scholarship and I have to take full advantage of it because I can’t see myself doing anything else after high school. I want to help my family in any way I can, I seen them at their best and I seen them at their worst. I dont like to see any of my family members struggling to pay bills or any type of struggling. I want to make them proud and it starts in the classroom and on that football field.
My goals for senior year are to have a good score on my SAT’s, graduate with a 3.4, and get a full ride scholarship to fresno state. I know its not going to be easy, nothings easy in life and if it is, it’s doesn’t to last long. To accomplish my goals there cannot be one day where I don’t study, do homework, and not do footballs drills. Football is a privilege therefore I have to have my homework done first before I do any type of football drills.
My goals for my future are the same as many kids dreams; to be an NFL wide receiver. Im the type of person who believes in god and goes by his words. There’s going to be many times where I want to give up and quit but I have to remind myself the reason why I started. God has a plan for me but he also said it’s not going to be easy; especially with the type of lifestyle I used to live. I was one crazy kid, but I couldn’t be any more happier that I changed myself and i'm back on the right track.
